We believe that conflict should be addressed at the earliest possible stage. Whether you’ve been trying to work things out yourself, or are in court (or about to go there), and whether or not you are working with attorneys, we offer a service to fit your situation and budget.

Other than consulting/coaching, our services require the participation of all parties to the dispute.  Where necessary, we will confer with each party, free of charge, to seek their voluntary participation.

PRE-LITIGATION OR NON-LITIGATED ISSUES

Although each intervention is unique, it typically involves a series of meetings over the course of several days. We first meet separately with each participant to understand their view of the conflict. Only then do we gather the parties for a joint decision-making session.

CONSULTATION/CONFLICT COACHING

If you’re not sure what to do about a dispute, or where another party declines to participate in a mediation or decision-making session, we are available to consult and coach. We offer strategies to better deal with the stress of being in a serious conflict. You may even be able to get to resolution without formal intervention.

Pricing is on an hourly basis.  Please contact us for a quote.

MEDIATION

Typically for disputes that are in litigation, but available for pre-litigated or non-litigated matters as well.

FULL DAY:  Includes two hours of preparation time, up to eight hours on the day of the mediation, and reasonable follow-up. Additional hours are billed at the hourly rate.

HALF DAY:  Includes two hours of preparation time, up to four hours on the day of the mediation, and reasonable follow-up. Additional hours are billed at the hourly rate.

MEDIATION ON A BUDGET (Amount ≤ $50,000): Includes one hour of preparation time, up to four hours on the day of the mediation, and reasonable follow-up. Additional hours are billed at the hourly rate.

NOTE: Typical rates are for sessions held at Safe Ground’s offices or locations in Metro Los Angeles (Westside-Downtown; South Bay; San Fernando Valley.) Call for a quote if extensive time or travel is required.
